Summer Riley delivers a gripping and emotionally intense romance in Mine, with an exquisitely detailed narrative that pulls you in from the very first page. The female main character is a true spitfire—bold, fierce, and unapologetically herself—while the possessive male lead brings all the intensity and heat you could want in a dark romance.
I’ve read this book three times now, and each reread reveals something new—a subtle clue, a hidden layer, a deeper emotion. Riley’s writing is addictive, and the pacing keeps you on edge. And that plot twist at the end? Absolutely jaw-dropping. I didn’t see it coming, and it made me even more desperate for the sequel.
If you love obsessive love, high stakes, and a heroine who doesn’t back down, Mine is a must-read. I can’t wait for book two!

Summer Riley did what she had to do with this book! It is absolutely spectacular. It’s a little more than a novella, but she packed everything into it so well.
This book did not go the way I was expecting it to or trying to predict in my mind and I am not mad about it in the slightest.
Kade is everything you in a dark romance MMC, definitely had me believing they were meant for each other, and that Leo could shove it. Lexi truly embodies the conflicting emotions you’d likely feel in a situation like this. Only a few spicy scenes, but they’ll definitely satisfy.
I’m hoping in the next book that we will get a little more backstory on Nikki and of course the series of events that led up to the ending.

A gripping story that is different than others in the genre. I am still relatively new to the genre but I can’t get over Kade and his obsession for Lexi. He’s dark, he’s dangerous and of course he’s sexy! But Lexi isn’t a damsel who is going to let this man dominate her. She fights, kicks, and bites back trying to fight her captor and also resist returning to the world she once left. But who is more dangerous of the two?
There are so many twists and turns that keep you turning the pages trying to understand the psyche of both of these characters. I would recommend anything written by Summer!
